    Wilson County is soliciting qualifications for an Architectural Firm licensed in the State of Texas to provide Architectural services for the planning, preliminary architectural, design architectural, and construction architectural for the new Shelter of Last Resort and expansion of current Wilson County Community and Expo Center.  Firms  and/or  individuals  should  have past experience with federally funded programs.  RFQ documents may be downloaded electronically on the Wilson County website at https://www.co.wilson.tx.us/page/wilson.Bids_RFPs . 

     

    Label sealed RFQ’s will be accepted until 9:00 a.m. on Monday August 12, 2024, at the Wilson County Auditor's Office at 1420 3rd Street, Suite 109, Floresville Texas, 78114.

    The RFQ’s will be publicly opened and read aloud in Commissioners Court on Monday August 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.  Any envelopes received after 9:00 am CST will not be opened and will be returned.

    Wilson County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals,   as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards.  Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals.     Wilson County is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of the new Emergency Operations Center for Wilson County. Scope of work consists of ground up construction of a new 9,537 square foot single-story operations building in Floresville, Texas.  Additional scope of work consists of, but not limited to, includes new asphalt driveways, parking lot, the addition of an emergency generator and miscellaneous site improvements. Note the terms and conditions of this invitation for bids, and the accompanying schedule, such other contract provisions, specifications, drawings or other data as are attached or incorporated by reference in the schedule.

    The projects will follow the Construction Documents and current specifications set forth by RVK Architecture.

    A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas.     2105 feet (0.4 miles) in length of roadway improvements located in the Wilson County.
    Scope of work consists of, but not limited to drainage structure, subgrade and base repair,
