  • County of Wilson, County Commissioners Request for Bids:

    The County of Wilson will be accepting bids until 9:00 a.m., August 08, 2022 for the following:

    1. Flexible Base Materials, Asphaltic Materials, and Emulsion
      • a.)Material only
      • b.)Material plus Hauling cost
      • c.)Hauling only
    2. Bulk Gasoline and Diesel
    3. Non-Consent and Recover Tows as requested by Sheriff’s Office in Wilson County
    4. Lawn Maintenance Service

    Bid invitation packets may be obtained at the Wilson County Auditor’s Office, located at 1420 3rd Street, Suite 109, Floresville, TX 78114 or on the Wilson County website http://www.co.wilson.tx.us/page/wilson.Bids_RFPs.  All bids must be made on blank forms provided and included in the bound document.  The name, address, and license number of the bidder must be plainly marked thereon. The bidder should use unit pricing.  All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as stated in the bid invitation packet and submitted to the Wilson County Auditor, 1420 3rd Street, Suite 109, Floresville, TX 78114 on or before Monday, August 08th, 2022 prior to 9:00 a.m.    The County of Wilson reserves the right to reject any or all bids and award the contract to the vendor which it considers having submitted the best and most advantageous bid.  Payment by the County will be made after each Commissioner’s Court date.    The bids are to be opened at 10:00 a.m., August 08, 2022, in Commissioners’ Courtroom, 1420 3rd Street, Floresville, TX 78114.  If you have any questions or need further assistance please contact the Wilson County Auditor’s Office at 830-393-7304.





    Notice is hereby given that a public hearing on the FY 2023 budget of Wilson County Texas will be held on August 22, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Wilson County Courthouse, 1420 3rd Street, Floresville, Texas.  A Copy of the proposed budget will be filed on or before August 12th, and may be seen in the office of the County Clerk or on the Counties website.  All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and give comments at the hearing.  This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $1,552,785, which is a 8.5854 percent increase from last year’s budget.  The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $708,533.67.
